In principle, CPIFT provides all the basic equipments required to understand the fundamentals of film making and television production. However, the Institute shall continuously outsource modern equipments to teach and practice specialised subjects. Thus, students get familiarised with professional environment which they will face after completion of the course. Due to fast changing technology, we believe that out-sourcing the modern equipments at a given time is a better option than to give training on obsolete equipments. Thus, the infrastructure of the Institute has all the amenities required for the basic conceptual programmes and all high-end technological facilities for a specialised programme. |

The library of the Institute is well equipped on the subjects of Film and Television Direction, Acting, Motion picture Photography, Audiography, Editing, Digital Technology, Dramatics, Aesthetics, Indian Culture, Indian History, Sociology, Human Psychology, Literature, Music & Dance, Painting and Other Fine Arts. |

Other than Indian classic films, the library will also have films of famous international directors from Russia, Japan, France, U.K., Iran, Sweden, Italy, USA, etc. |

The library is acquiring Audio CDs depicting - Indian Classical Music - Vocal and Instrumental, Carnatic Music-Vocal and Instrumental, Western Classical Music, Jazz, Experimental Synthetic Music, Hit film Music and Folk Music of India from Rajasthan, Punjab, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Bengal, UP, Bihar, etc. |
